Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in Livonia, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate will be patient, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high-quality care to our clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Prepare and serve meals according to clients’ dietary requirements Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the nursing team or supervisor Assist with medication reminders and ensure client adherence to treatment plans Document care provided and maintain accurate records Requirements Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred Ability to pass a background check Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Livonia, MI Compassionate mindset and patience to work with elderly and disabled individuals Ability to lift and assist clients as needed Benefits Competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $19.00, paid twice a month Flexible scheduling options Opportunities for professional development and training Supportive and friendly working environment About the Company University Home Care Inc is a trusted provider of home health care services dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals in the Livonia, MI community.
