Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse and production facility
• Load, unload, stack, and move pallets, products, and raw materials
• Supply production lines and manufacturing equipment with necessary materials
• Assist with warehouse inventory control, material tracking, and organization
• Transport finished products to designated storage or shipping areas
• Perform routine forklift inspections and follow all safety procedures
• Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records as required
• Work efficiently to meet daily production and warehouse goals
• Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized
• Assist with additional warehouse, material handling, and production duties as assigned

Requirements for the Forklift Operator:

• Minimum of 2 years of sit-down forklift operating experience
• Recent warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience loading, unloading, and transporting pallets and materials
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and forklift operation
• Inventory control and shipping/receiving experience a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Dependable attendance and a stable work history
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
