Territory Manager, CardioMEMS -- Los Angeles, CA

Abbott seeks a Territory Manager for its CardioMEMS heart failure business in Los Angeles. This remote, hunter-oriented role focuses on driving therapy adoption, expanding market access, and building revenue through strategic customer relationships at implanting centers and community hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with physicians, clinic administrators, and stakeholders; deliver clinical and strategic presentations
• Conduct quarterly business reviews, manage sales targets, and execute territory business plans
• Identify and convert new business opportunities at implanting and community hospital sites
• Provide on-call technical, clinical, and procedural case support across the region
• Maintain compliance with FDA regulations and company policies; document sales activities and customer interactions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years direct healthcare sales experience; cardiology or heart failure background preferred
• Demonstrated quota achievement of 100%+ for 2 consecutive years
• Proven track record opening 3–5+ net-new accounts annually or expanding underdeveloped accounts
• Strong knowledge of payor and insurance reimbursement landscape
• Recent product launch experience (last 3–5 years) with sustainability metrics
• Ability to influence cross-functional buying groups and present to executive stakeholders
