About the Position

Job Title: ER Float to Med/Surg Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Must float 50/50 between Emergency Room and Med/Surg Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room with the ability to float to Med/Surg. The shift is 12 hours overnight, with a scheduling requirement of three shifts every week. The emergency room typically has a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. The average number of patients in the emergency room is between 8-12 per day. Candidates should possess current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Experience in a rural or community hospital setting is highly preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in an acute care environment.
