Senior Accountant (Development & Construction)

Related Ross is seeking a professional and driven Senior Accountant to join their team! The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of development accounting relating to the construction of residential and commercial projects, as well as Apogee Golf Course development. These responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing construction loan requisitions, maintaining and reviewing monthly job costing reports and preparing quarterly and annual financial reports and work papers on a GAAP basis. The most important of these functions are as follows: Responsibilities Review and analyze the general ledger, financial statements and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly and year end work papers Prepare monthly construction loan requisitions Review and code contractor/vendor invoices, coordinate approval of the invoices, monitor the loan budget, ensure timely funding of the loan requisition, and oversee payment of vendors Assist in the management of auditor engagements for completion of annual audit reports Provide timely and accurate information to the owners, lenders and outside partners Ensure that all job cost transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system and job cost reports Special projects as assigned by management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3+ years of professional experience; CPA and public accounting experience a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with attention to detail Strong analytical ability Excellent written and communication skills Proficiency with standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Knowledge of JD Edwards / Textura / Hubble reporting software a plus Schedule Monday‑Friday in‑office, Fridays remote Benefits Personalized Health Care: Multiple medical, dental, and vision plan options; Employee Assistance Program Financial Benefits: Competitive salary and incentive packages; matching 401(k); FSAs and HSA; employer‑paid life and AD&D insurance; paid leave & disability programs Social Wellness: 19+ days of PTO; mental health counseling & resources; fertility, surrogacy, and adoption assistance; volunteer days and donation matching Career Development: Learning & training programs; tuition & certification reimbursement; internal advancement opportunities Overview Related Ross is transforming urban life in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County, creating opportunity for all who live and work here.
