### Assignment Details :
• Start Date: 5/1/2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient
• Schedule:
• Clinic, inpatient rounding, and beeper call coverage
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: ~30 days (temporary privileges available)
• Facility accepts multiple providers: yes
### Requirements :
• Active AR license or IMLC
• Board certification or eligibility
• Clean history
• ACLS
• BLS
### Clinical Details :
• General surgery coverage including inpatient and outpatient care
• Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
• Procedures include appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernia repair
• GI endoscopy including upper and lower endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy
• Chest tube and central line placement
• Exposure to laparoscopic and trauma-related cases
• Additional experience in breast, vascular, and thoracic procedures preferred
• Level IV trauma facility
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary care team
