Store Associate

Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, contributing to a customer‑focused retail setting where responsibilities include serving customers, completing cashier duties, maintaining the sales floor, and supporting pharmacy operations. Essential Functions Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving service issues. Offer warm greetings and help locate additional items. Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory tasks as directed. Support opening and closing activities when needed. Provide customer support across departments, ensuring items are stocked and operational. Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular pharmacy shifts as growth opportunities. Advocate new CVS services and loyalty programs to aid customers on their path to better health. Physical Requirements Remain upright for sustained periods. Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and lighter loads regularly, including overhead lifting. Visual acuity sufficient for viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection of small parts/details. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
