Job Shift Details: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, scheduled hours 40. Job order details start date 06/29/2026, end date 09/28/2026, duration 13 weeks.

Job Description: JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience: 2 years in an outpatient setting, CA LVN, Certs: BLS (AHA or ARC only), IV & Blood withdrawal. Special requirements: Phlebotomy and IV start skills. JOB DETAILS: Weekend REQ: 1 weekend per month, Floating REQ: Yes, On-Call REQ: No, Pending license: NO, must be active at time of submission, NO SCHEDULING REQUESTS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED.

Facility & Patient Care Details: Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. Daily census: 350. Special procedures/unit details: The LVN supports the physician and nursing staff in the delivery of health care by performing patient care assessments, and a variety of medically related tasks. The LVN is a licensed nurse who works in an ambulatory care setting to perform and provide nursing services within the scope of practice.

Special Equipment: Sets up exam room/procedure rooms appropriately based on patient visit needs. Performs initial nursing intake and prepares patients for examination. Prepares patients for examination by reviewing current medications and reviewing documents in medical record. Prepares medical chart and records patient information needed to support the reason for visit such as vital signs and reason for visit. Administers prescribed medications, injections, or IV medications using best practice.

Travel Compliance Required at time of submission: Two supervisor references from within the last year, all relevant certifications, Nursys report dated within the last two weeks showing all licensed states, and a copy of COVID vaccination card. Locals are accepted unless otherwise stated in the job title. A reduced local rate applies for MAs & LVNs ONLY. Licensure: LVNs must have a valid IV certification at the time of submission. MAs must have a certification from an accredited school listed on the DAPIP website. Temp RN/LVN licensures not accepted. Valid perm California license must be in hand at time of submission. Time off: RTO must be 7 days or less and not within the first 2 weeks of the assignment. Float Requirement: Please review specific job posting for details and confirm with traveler that they are willing to be flexible. Float locations will be listed if required. Return Staff Policy: Previous perm employees must be separated from any Cedars Sinai facility for 1 year before they are eligible to apply for travel positions at CSMN/HHP. All past Cedars employment (travel, staff, etc.) MUST be included on profile. This includes Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cedars Marina Del Rey, Torrance Memorial, Cedars-Sinai Medical Network (CSMN), Huntington Health Physicians (HHP) and Huntington Hospital. Modules: Modules are billable, max billable hours: Non-Clinical per diem or traveler: 8 hours, Clinical/Allied per diem or traveler: 10 hours, Lead/Supervisor traveler: 10 hours. Modules are completed pre-start, and vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via transcripts.
