Associate Litigation Attorney

Job Description Job Description Anderson, Rasor & Partners, LLP is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join our team of litigators. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical malpractice, transportation, long-term care/nursing home defense, and/or premises liability defense litigation. Candidates with other substantive experience in civil litigation are also encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Manage cases through all phases of litigation Draft responsive pleadings, motions, and written discovery Attend court hearings, conferences and other proceedings Take and defend depositions Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned written work Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and members of the firm Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Illinois 2+ years of litigation experience Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills Experience practicing in Cook County and/or the collar counties preferred Defense litigation experience preferred Salary: Commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and bonus opportunity.
