Senior Full Stack Developer Location: McLean, VA (Onsite) Position Type: Contract Projected Duration: July 6, 2026 – December 31, 2026 Number of Openings: 1 Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot to build and enhance sophisticated financial analysis applications supporting derivative analytics and fixed income solutions. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working at the intersection of modern web technologies and financial engineering, delivering high-performance applications for quantitative analysts and business users. The position emphasizes front-end development (approximately 70%) using React and TypeScript, with 30% back-end development using Java and Spring Boot. Candidates with experience supporting fixed income applications or working within capital markets environments are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Design and develop modern, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using React and TypeScript. Build reusable components and interactive dashboards that enable users to configure, execute, and visualize financial analytics. Implement efficient state management and seamless integration with backend APIs. Develop and maintain scalable Spring Boot applications and RESTful APIs. Integrate backend services with enterprise data sources, analytics engines, and market data platforms. Ensure secure, reliable, and maintainable service architecture. Collaborate across UI, services, APIs, and infrastructure layers to deliver complete end-to-end solutions. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices. Develop automated tests using JUnit, Jest, and related testing frameworks. Maintain high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and peer reviews. Identify technical debt and implement improvements that enhance scalability, maintainability, and performance. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem. 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with React. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern React development practices. Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query. Experience with automated testing frameworks including JUnit, Jest, or React Testing Library. Experience using Git in collaborative development environments, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. Exposure to container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with modern React tooling such as Vite or Next.js. Knowledge of relational databases and advanced SQL query development.
