Emergency medicine experience preferred. New grads with previous emergency medicine experience are welcome to apply. Fluency in Spanish is a welcome asset, enabling even stronger connections with our patients. Scheduling 12-hour shifts. We’re always there to support each other when covering shifts. Key Responsibilities Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation. Annual ED visits: 10,000. Manage a variety of emergency cases, including triage and fast-track patients. Collaborate closely with Sound’s hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless transition of care. Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU. Living and Working in Sierra Vista Sierra Vista, located an hour southeast of Tucson and nestled among scenic mountains, offers an easy commute to Phoenix.
