Description
This position requires a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to work onsite in an outpatient setting in Edison, NJ.
The role involves assisting with patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
The position is full-time, with specific shift requirements, and requires familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Requirements
Active, unrestricted New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Compliance with NJ Board of Physical Therapy Examiners' continuing competency requirements.
Completion of compliance training prior to patient contact.
No current or pending licensure discipline or exclusion-list findings.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and assist with patient transfers.
Manual dexterity for hands-on techniques and equipment operation.

Qualifications
Associate's degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Experience in outpatient orthopedic/MSK settings preferred.
Competence in common outpatient MSK interventions.
Clear communication skills with the supervising PT and care team members.
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation systems.
Solid understanding of New Jersey scope of practice for PTAs.
Ability to travel between Care Center locations within the network.
