Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Company: A&M Bronx Baking
Location: North Haven, CT
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Receive and inspect deliveries; unload and organize inventory; pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments; verify shipping paperwork and maintain accurate records; rotate inventory using FIFO; load delivery trucks safely and accurately; keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe; assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment; follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or shipping experience
- Forklift certification required (may be obtained after hire)
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills
