Installation Technician Start ASAP Overview

We're hiring an Installation Technician to install, relocate, and service ATMs at customer locations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys travel, working with tools, and tackling installation projects. You'll drive a company vehicle to customer sites, operate equipment, perform light construction work, and work directly with clients to ensure successful installations.

Travel is required, including overnight stays. Per diem is provided for travel.

• Travel to customer sites in a company truck, including overnight trips
• Install, remove, and relocate ATMs and related equipment
• Install ATM signage and supporting equipment
• Prepare installation sites by modifying walls, concrete pads, and other structures as needed
• Read floor plans and blueprints to complete installations
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely
• Use a tablet/mobile app to document work, upload photos, communicate status, and maintain DOT logs
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during installations and service calls

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to lift, push, pull, and carry 75+ lbs regularly
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day

• Construction, carpentry, or heavy equipment moving experience
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience reading blueprints and floor plans
• Rigging or millwright experience
• Field service, installation, or equipment technician experience
• Experience installing or servicing kiosks, vending machines, ATMs, or similar equipment

This is a field-based role working at banks and customer locations. Projects may include ATM installations, relocations, upgrades, and branch renovations. Technicians typically leave Monday morning in a company vehicle and travel to the furthest job site of the week, then work their way back toward the shop or home area throughout the week, with most routes wrapping up closer to the local market by Friday.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may involve bank lobbies, drive-up/through-the-wall ATM installations, and freestanding island locations. The role requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, with per diem provided when applicable. Daily work includes using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and a tablet/mobile device for job documentation and communication. The position also requires regular lifting and moving of heavy equipment, site preparation work, and adherence to all safety procedures and customer site requirements.

This is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
