Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 12-week assignment. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival to facilitate timely care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders.
• Document patient information accurately within the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical interventions as needed.
• Maintain current certifications and adhere to facility protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALs certifications.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs and work flexible schedules.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
