Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantCardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for a Direct Hire Senior Accountant in Bowling Green, OH. The Senior Accountant will ensure the achievement of financial goals and collaborate with the Financial Controller to formulate financial policies and perform essential financial analysis. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! Available shifts 1st shift 8AM to 4:30PM (Overtime possible).Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance.Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, reports, forecasts, and key performance metrics.Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support business objectives.Manage cash flow, investments, financing activities, and risk mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation and filing of sales tax and other required returns.Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, consultants, and other professional service providers.Oversee accounting, auditing, and financial reporting functions to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.Generate financial analyses and reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.Lead cost management initiatives, including cost forecasting, control, analysis, and profitability improvement efforts.Develop, maintain, and enhance financial management systems, processes, and ERP/SAP functionality.Provide leadership, training, and daily guidance to finance department staff.Support corporate growth initiatives, including international financial projects and IPO-related activities.Drive continuous improvement efforts and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve organizational and financial goals.Requirements and Qualifications:Associates or Bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field3+ years of experience in accounting or related fieldLogical thinker with problem solving skills and an aptitude for systems/technologyUnderstanding of accounting principlesUnderstanding of general ledger and accounts payable system functionsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with QuickBooks and ERP SystemsStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust be able to work with all resource levels within the companyMust be able to learn in a fast-paced environment and pivot as neededBilingual in Mandarin is a plus.About Cardinal Staffing Services: At Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
