Job Summary
W e are seeking an experienced QA Infrastructure & Data Lead to oversee the governance, stability, and continuous improvement of non-production environments and enterprise test data management capabilities. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, compliant, and release-ready systems that support high-quality software delivery across the organization.
Job Description
- Own the lifecycle management of all test and pre-production environments.
- Maintain environment configuration baselines and version inventories.
- Ensure environment readiness prior to testing cycles and releases.
- Coordinate provisioning, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities with platform teams.
- Monitor environment stability, performance, and availability.
- Manage environment scheduling, utilization, and conflict resolution.
- Prevent configuration and version drift between QA and production environments.
- Define and implement policies, standards, and operating procedures related to test environments.
- Execute and evolve the enterprise Test Data Management (TDM) strategy and roadmap.
- Design and implement test data architecture, tooling strategies, and governance frameworks.
- Establish and oversee a centralized test data repository supporting multiple business functions.
- Manage test data refreshes, time-sliced refreshes, and on-demand test data requests.
- Coordinate virtual environment support and data provisioning activities across IT teams.
- Develop and maintain "gold copy" test data sets for projects, programs, and releases.
- Implement automated test data generation, synthetic data creation, data masking, and privacy controls.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing operation of a centralized Test Data Management service.
- Define service levels, reporting metrics, and performance measures for shared services.
- Coordinate activities across decentralized application teams and concurrent project initiatives.
- Communicate environment and test data status, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
- Develop and publish KPIs that measure service effectiveness and delivery quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational QA and testing frameworks.
- Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to team members on test environment and test data management best practices.
- Collaborate with Release Management, PMO, Application Services, and Infrastructure teams on enterprise initiatives.
- Support multiple projects of varying size and complexity while balancing business priorities.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Leverage automation, AI-driven monitoring, predictive analytics, and observability tools to improve operational effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to change management, release governance, and audit requirements.
Skills Required
- 8+ years of experience in IT Operations, QA Operations, Release Management, or related disciplines.
- 3+ years of experience managing non-production environments and test data.
- Experience with relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, release management, and change management processes.
- Experience with version control, deployment processes, and migration governance.
- Experience operating within cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide technology implementations.
- Experience with service virtualization technologies.
- Proven ability to work effectively in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments.
- Hands-on experience integrating DevOps and QA tools for test environment and test data provisioning.
- Exposure to AI-based monitoring, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and synthetic test data generation is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making capabilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Equivalent combinations of education and professional experience will also be considered.

Salary
- $165,000 per year (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
