Cardiology - Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

Location: Trenton, NJ

Job Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, Days (No weekends or on-call responsibilities)

Salary Range: $130,000–$140,000 + Merit Bonus

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced NP or PA with cardiology experience to independently manage cardiac patients in inpatient and outpatient settings while collaborating with cardiologists to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

• Active NJ NP or PA license
• Active NJ DEA, CDS, and applicable certifications
• Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as an NP or PA (RN experience alone does not qualify)
• Prior critical care experience
• Experience independently evaluating and treating cardiac patients
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Provide inpatient cardiology care and develop treatment plans
• Interpret EKGs and manage cardiac medications
• Perform cardiac stress testing (training available)
• Collaborate with cardiologists and coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
