Warehouse Associate (Packer)Company: QuidelOrtho 3+ month contract Payrate: 18.00-18.70/hr Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:00 AM – 10:30 AMJob DescriptionQuidelOrtho is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Packer) to support daily distribution center operations. This position is responsible for picking, packing, sorting, stacking, and shipping orders while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPick orders using an RF scanner and pack orders using a computer system.Verify product codes, lot numbers, and quantities for accuracy.Identify and report damaged products.Work in ambient, cooler, and freezer environments as needed.Operate warehouse equipment safely and complete routine inspections.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Assist in different warehouse departments based on business needs.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired: High School Diploma or GED, or at least 2 years of warehouse or similar industry experience in lieu of education.Basic computer and math skills.Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.Experience working in a cold chain environment.Physical & Work RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working in varying temperatures: Ambient warehouse conditionsCooler: Approximately 40°FFreezer: Approximately -20°FAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety vests, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and other equipment as needed.Willingness to work overtime with short or same-day notice.Benefits (employee contribution): Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Retirement plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
