Our Company is looking for long-term employees that we can invest in and grow with as we pursue our mission of being the premier commercial truck dealer group.General Job DescriptionThis position will be responsible for supporting all departments in the store by greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, handling cash transactions, and performing general daily duties. The position may also assist other staff with overflow work, including word processing, data entry, and research tasks.The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.ResponsibilitiesGeneral office duties (answering calls, maintaining office supplies, mail and circulation), customer service, maintaining vendor contact information, and assisting department managers.Post inbound inventory and assist in inventory cycle counts.Daily cash, invoice, and credit card reconciliation, banking, and deposits.Collect payment on invoices and accounts.General account reconciliation and field questions from Accounts Receivables.Assist accounting and collections with local customers.Separate parts invoices and mail to customers.Assist customers with minor account details.Maintain data on spreadsheets and forms and send documents (invoices, purchase orders, etc.).Minimum Job Qualifications18 years of age.High school diploma/GED.1 year of work experience.Desired Job QualificationsDemonstrated skills with Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal and written skills.Ability to read technical procedures, write reports, and business correspondence.Ability to effectively respond to questions from clients, customers, and the public.Mental Capability RequirementsComprehension: Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information.Organization: Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule on short-term basis (more than 1 month).Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to apply common sense in performing job.Communication: Ability to use and complete routine forms and/or conduct routine oral communication.Mathematics: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, record, balance, and check results for accuracy.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
