Registered Nurse - High Risk Labor & Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 3x12-Hour shifts (06:00 - 18:00). Options available for 36 or 48 hours per week.

The Registered Nurse will provide care for laboring patients in a high-risk Labor & Delivery Unit, including OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 - Special Care Nursery. Responsibilities include managing patients with high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes for gestations of 34 weeks or greater, performing C-Sections, and executing External Cephalic Versions.

Care for laboring patients with high-risk conditions.

Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.

Assist in various delivery methods, including vaginal and C-sections.

Provide postpartum care and support in pediatrics (Level 2 - Special Care Nursery).

Perform assessments and documentation using the Epic charting system.

2 years of experience in a high-risk Labor & Delivery setting preferred.

Charge experience is preferred.

Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate.

Valid RN license in Kansas or Compact state at the time of submission.
