AI Engineer – GitHub Copilot Agents (Salesforce Development & Testing) Location: McLean, VA Job ID: 412441 Salary Range: $130,000–$140,000 a year Job Description This role focuses on designing and building AI agents using GitHub Copilot to enhance development and testing workflows within the Salesforce ecosystem. Core Responsibilities Design and build AI agents to support automated testing and QA workflows and enable code generation, refactoring, and debugging across the SDLC. Leverage Copilot to accelerate Apex/LWC development, API integrations, backend logic, code modernization, and enhancements. Convert design artifacts such as Figma inputs into code scaffolding and components based on internal PoC patterns. AI-Driven Testing & Automation Build AI agents to automate unit test creation, regression, and functional testing. Use Copilot to improve test coverage, reduce manual effort, and support TDD adoption. Support transition toward AI-assisted and autonomous testing pipelines. Prompt Engineering & Optimization Design and optimize prompts using few-shot and structured prompting techniques. Build reusable prompt templates and patterns for development and testing use cases. Continuously refine prompts for better accuracy and context relevance. Python & AI Integration Develop backend services and automation scripts using Python. Integrate AI agents with APIs and enterprise applications. LLM & Agentic Frameworks Implement solutions using LLMs such as GPT, Claude, and others. Build AI workflows with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and frameworks like LangChain or equivalents. Collaborate with Salesforce teams, QA, and architects; participate in sprint delivery with embedded AI workflows; drive adoption of AI‑led SDLC transformation. Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Hands‑on experience with GitHub Copilot for development and testing automation. Proven ability to build AI agents and Copilot‑driven workflows. Experience in Prompt Engineering and prompt optimisation. Experience working with LLMs such as GPT, Claude, and similar models. Knowledge of SDLC lifecycle automation. Knowledge of API and integration patterns. Preferred Skills Experience implementing agentic development in the Salesforce ecosystem, including CI/CD pipelines with AI automation.
