About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cardiovascular Operating Room License: GA or compact license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong endovascular experience, preferred experience in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotics Description: The role requires the nurse to float to General OR if needed. Call is required with a commitment of 48-60 hours every 4-week period. Weekend call is required. Nurses have the option to sign up for calls on their day off or on their scheduled workdays. Staff members are rarely kept on call for the entire 12-hour shift. If additional staff are needed due to call-outs, a discussion will occur with on-call nurses regarding adjustments to their schedule. Two on-call rooms are available for staff use.
