Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric/Emergency - Full Time Night Shift

Responsibilities Full-time, 36 hours per week, position with full benefits. Opportunity for overtime and covering various shifts if interested. Position also qualifies for a $6k sign‑on bonus. Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital, Murrieta, California, 120‑bed acute‑care hospital with region’s only Pediatric Emergency Services team for children 14 and under, and the area’s only OB/Emergency Department program. Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. They will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. They will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospital’s mission statement. Job Duties / Responsibilities Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring, identifies dysrhythmias and treats appropriately. Accurately assigns triage categories. Maintains current knowledge of medications and their administration based on age and clinical condition. Assists emergency room physician with diagnosis and interventional procedures (e.g., central lines, closed reductions, advanced airway management). Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program. BSN Preferred. Required Licensure / Certifications Registered Nurse with current California RN license. BLS (AHA) certification. ACLS (AHA) certification. PALS (AHA) certification. NIH Stroke Certification. CEN encouraged.
