Lead, Clinical Recruiting

Role Description

The Lead, Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing team performance to successfully execute on the day-to-day recruitment functions that drive outcomes to identify and attract top talent. The incumbent in this role participates and assists in the successful completion of sourcing and research for candidate engagement projects and initiatives that support Talent Acquisition and the company's vision, mission, and overall philosophy. He/She will serve as a mentor, coach, and go-to for a team of recruiting or sourcing professionals to aid in identifying candidates for often high-volume, highly technical, specialized and/or hard-to-fill roles within the organization. The Lead, Talent Acquisition, who is part of the Physician Recruitment team will own his/her own book of business/reqs and is responsible for recruitment of those reqs in a timely manner.

• Performs a wide range of team lead responsibilities including oversight of general sourcing/recruitment workflow.
• Physician Recruitment team Leads recruit physicians as assigned by the divisional recruitment leader.
• Mentors and guides team members through sourcing/recruitment processes.
• Establishes and maintains regular communications with the team.
• Accountable for direct reports’ weekly and monthly metrics.
• Supports team goal setting, drives employee development and team engagement.
• Conducts team meetings with COEs and partners with business to contribute thoughts/ideas.
• Proxies as the divisional recruitment leader during team meetings when unavailable.
• Ensures team is meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
• Provides expertise on sourcing/recruiting technology systems and business processes.
• Communicates with Talent Acquisition/Clinical Recruitment and COE stakeholders.
• Develops, tests and tracks recruitment strategies.
• Promotes our employer brand online and offline.
• Functions as a trainer and go-to-mentor for new team members.

Qualifications

• Advanced-level business acuity.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions.
• Knowledge of and ability to research industry trends and innovations related to Sourcing and Recruiting.
• Familiarity with social media marketing and digital networking.
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs).
• Solid writing, editing and proofreading skills; attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Effective time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to perform as a team member on simultaneous projects.
• Ability to analyze information and use deductive reasoning.
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Initiative-taker; highly motivated; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally up to 10% of the time.
• Spoken and written fluency in English.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Human Resources (HR), Communications, Business Administration or a closely related field required.
• A minimum of 5 years’ work experience as a Talent Sourcer or Recruiter required.
• A minimum of 1 year in a lead or supervisor TA role preferred.
• Firsthand experience with online and offline sourcing and recruiting techniques required.
• SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, CPRP, or similar certification a plus.
