Operating Room RN – Operating Room

Schedule: Shift: 3x12 day shifts; start times vary (either 06:45–19:15 or 09:00–21:30). Weekend requirement: Yes.

Assignment Details: Assignment length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks.

Requirements: Must have a valid state RN license. Minimum of 2 years of RN experience. Experience with trauma Level I preferred. BLS certification required; ACLS & CNOR preferred. Experience in scrub roles across various specialties including general surgery, ortho/spine, neuro, vascular, urology, ENT, gyn, and pediatrics. Experience with robotic-assisted cases (Da Vinci Xi, Mazor).

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort. Assist in surgical procedures, including preparation and sterilization of instruments. Monitor patient status and respond to emergency situations. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.

Compliance / Notes: Submission requirements include SSN, DOB, and RTO. Traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Housing options may be limited; candidates are advised to secure housing prior to the start.
