CDL A Delivery Driver Position Overview ?

Youll safely navigate the highway and city streets, back into tight docks, and unload with precision. The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - its about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.?

Key Responsibilities ?

• Safe Driving : Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner?
• Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas 100% touch freight?
• Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures?
• Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience?
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards?
• Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable?
• Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management?
• ?

Physical Requirements ?

• Lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required?
• Working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required?

Qualifications ?

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*?
• Must be at least 21 years of age?
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications?
• Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required?
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations?
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records?

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $15.95/hr and $45.00/hr.?

As applicable, this role may also receive: overtime compensation, retention bonus, component pay (i.e., based on cases, mileage, stops).
