Job Responsibilities Fit, fabricate, and weld structural steel and aluminum components Perform SMAW (Stick) welding on structural assemblies Read and interpret structural and architectural blueprints Lay out structural members including wide flange beams, HSS tubing, and pipe Grind, sand, and finish fabricated components Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely Verify measurements and maintain tight quality standards Work closely with production, shipping, and other departments to meet customer deadlines Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area Qualifications Required 4+ years of structural fabrication and welding experience Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Experience fitting structural steel components SMAW welding experience Ability to fabricate independently with minimal supervision Experience operating overhead cranes and/or forklifts Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
