Let us give you the opportunity to explore an exciting career path in a supportive and encouraging environment where every ambition is within reach.The Junior Bond Underwriter will support the surety division in the organic growth of the contract and commercial surety lines of business. **Key** **Accountabilities/Deliverables**:* The individual will spend the first-year learning principles of suretyship, underwriting skills, and claims.**Technical Knowledge & Experiences*** It is necessary for success in this role that the person possesses a certain level of acumen in financial analysis of non-public and public entity financial statements and related financial records.* The person must possess proper communication skills, both in writing and orally.* The person must possess personality skills necessary for marketing of our products.* Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in risk management and insurance, actuarial science, finance, or investments.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this position.-At Core Specialty, you will receive a competitive salary and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
