This role involves providing occupational therapy services within an inpatient setting, focusing on post-operative orthopedic aftercare, acute fractures of the hand, wrist, and elbow, and other hand and upper extremity injuries. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patient recovery and rehabilitation. Job Details Certifications and Qualifications: BLS certification; CA license in hand; minimum 3 years of experience; MS/MA degree required; at least 3 years of hand clinic experience; adult outpatient experience preferred. Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Responsibilities: Providing occupational therapy evaluation, treatment, and education for patients with upper extremity injuries, post-op orthopedic aftercare, and related conditions. Utilizing modalities such as US, TENS, and biofeedback; fabricating custom orthoses; implementing therapeutic exercises; performing assessments and reassessments; providing patient/family education; and documenting in Epic charting system. Additional Information: Possibility to float to Mission Bay, Mount Zion, or Bayfront facilities; RTO requests must be approved; orientation scheduled prior to start date.
