What You'll Do

• Respond to adult ICU patients requiring critical care in a teaching hospital setting
• Collaborate with attending physicians during rounds and patient assessments
• Manage bread-and-butter ICU and med-surg procedures (no intubations or complex neuro interventions)
• Respond as a clinician to patient needs within the ICU
• Complete documentation and charting using Epic EMR software
• Respond to a diverse patient census with an average of 7 patients daily
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and care

What You Need

• Board Certification in Acute Care with ICU experience
• Massachusetts licensure (or pending for PAs; no NP licensure needed)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• DEA registration
• 2+ years ICU relevant experience

• Strong response and clinical skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment

About the Assignment This role involves acting as a responding clinician in a busy ICU unit that cares for adult patients.
