Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Student Culture & Discipline
- Uphold the student code of conduct fairly and consistently.
- Manage student behavioral interventions , discipline referrals, and parental communications.
- Supervise common areas including arrivals, departures, lunch periods, and extracurricular programs to maintain a safe campus.
- Coordinate support systems like the Intervention Assistance Team (IAT) and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Conduct teacher observations and provide constructive feedback to improve instructional quality.
- Assist in the design and delivery of professional development programs for certified staff.
- Facilitate classroom coverage and coordinate substitute schedules during teacher absences.
- Analyze student data and standardized test results to guide instructional modifications.
- Assist with creating the master schedule , ensuring equitable workload distributions.
- Manage assigned school budgets and evaluate compliance with federal, state, and local educational regulations.
- Oversee crisis management planning , emergency preparedness drills, and response procedures.
- Address school leadership needs and step in as the acting administrator during the principal's absence.
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, or a closely related field.
- Valid State Administrator Certificate
- Minimum of 3 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Clear background check with a record free of criminal violations prohibiting public school employment.
- Proven track record of implementing data-driven strategies to close achievement gaps.
