Executive Director

North Carolina State University (NC State) is hiring an Executive Director of Advancement Information and Technology. This role directs the technological foundation of University Advancement, overseeing systems, data governance, analytics, project management, and training to support fundraising, alumni engagement, and communications. The Executive Director leads a team of 15 and collaborates with university partners to align technology strategies with institutional goals. Highlights Lead and manage advancement application systems, analytics, data services, project management, and training within University Advancement. Oversee a team of 15 professionals, including four direct reports. Manage and optimize the recently implemented Kindsight Ascend on Salesforce CRM ecosystem. Develop and enforce data governance policies ensuring security, compliance, and alignment with university standards. Collaborate with University Advancement leadership, Chief Development Officers, OIT, Finance, and other partners. Require expertise in complex technology systems management, especially Salesforce CRM. Must possess a Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible IT leadership experience. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications, experience with Tableau, CRM Analytics, and coding skills in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, or SQL. Responsible for budget management, vendor contracts, and strategic resource allocation.
