Occupational Therapist (OT) – Job Details
Position Requirements
- Specialty: Occupational Therapy
- Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent experience in Occupational Therapy
- License: Active Georgia OT license required
- Certification: NBCOT certification required
- BLS: AHA BLS required
- First-Time Travelers: Not specified
Schedule
- Regular Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Schedule: Varies based on department needs
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks

Department & Clinical Setting
- Department: Acute Care Occupational Therapy
- EMR/Charting: Cerner
- Patient Population: Acute care patients throughout the hospital
- Responsibilities: OT services provided based on physician orders, supporting patients across a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including:
- ICU patients
- Stroke and neurological conditions
- Orthopedic patients
- General debility
- Various medical and surgical diagnoses
