Remote Controller (Full-Time)

We are seeking a highly experienced Controller to lead the full accounting function during a key growth phase. Responsibilities Include Owning accounting operations such as accounts payable, vendor onboarding, revenue recognition, and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP. Developing and maintaining internal controls, managing payroll reviews, and overseeing SaaS licenses. Coordinating tax compliance, year‑end reporting, and managing treasury activities including cash management and covenant tracking. Leading internal audits, regulatory compliance, and supporting financial valuations and investor confirmations. Collaborating cross‑functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams to improve systems and controls. Qualifications Include 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with CPA certification. Deep knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial statement preparation. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to own complex processes end‑to‑end. Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across teams. Bonus: experience with SQL, large‑scale 1099 programs, or working in startups or real estate environments.
