This facility operates as part of a large health system providing comprehensive orthopedic surgery services. The hospital maintains modern surgical capabilities and established protocols to support specialized hand surgery procedures. The health system offers a collaborative environment with comprehensive support services for orthopedic patients requiring surgical intervention.

Florence provides visitors with diverse attractions including local distilleries, antique shopping, and brewing establishments, alongside outdoor recreational opportunities such as golf and kayaking. The clinician will provide comprehensive orthopedic hand surgery coverage including outpatient clinic and hospital responsibilities with no trauma call and no weekend coverage. The schedule includes Tuesday and Thursday clinic from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the OR from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with potential add-on surgeries. The role involves rounding on 0-5 inpatients per day, performing 5-12 surgical cases per day, and managing 20-40 patients per day in clinic. Board certification in Orthopedic Hand Surgery is required for this position.
