Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator

Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator Elk Grove Village, IL Our client is hiring a Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator! Responsibilities of the Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator
Compensation for the Cold Headed Fastener Header Setup Operator The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $20.00 per hour to $41.00 per hour depending on experience.
- Monitor the cold heading machines including the setup and proper sequencing of progressions, lubrication and perform record keeping as needed,
- Select, install and adjust threading die, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, pressure tripping mechanisms, cams, gears and pulleys.
- Layout or be trained for tooling progressions for up to 6 die, 6 blow cold headers such as Formax headers or other brands.
- Grind and modify thread roll dies if required and oil and clean the headers as necessary.
- Familiarity with headers such as Formax FX33's (3/8" with 3 stations), FX32's (3/8" with 2 stations), FX45, FX44, FX53, FX54, FX55 or other brands other than Formax is a plus.
- Verify dimensions of the workpieces per print specifications.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of full-time experience with the setting up of cold headed fastener headers is required
