About the Position: We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design engineering and specifications development for a diverse range of high-impact projects. This role is essential to our water, wastewater, industrial, and transportation sectors. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electrical design—from power distribution and facility lighting to sophisticated SCADA and control systems—ensuring that our clients' infrastructure is efficient, modern, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
Power Distribution: Design and develop engineering specifications for electrical power distribution systems in wastewater, water, and industrial facilities.

Systems Control: Design and implement SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and control systems for complex municipal and industrial processes.

Infrastructure Lighting: Develop design plans for facility lighting and highway/street lighting for major transportation infrastructure projects.

Technical Specifications: Author and review comprehensive technical specifications to ensure project quality and adherence to regulatory standards.

Project Coordination: Work as a team player within a multi-disciplinary firm, communicating effectively with civil, mechanical, and environmental engineers.

Quality Assurance: Direct the production of technical drawings and ensure all electrical designs meet the State of Ohio engineering codes.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, specifically within the public works or industrial sectors.

Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering.

Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio is required (or the proven capability to obtain Ohio licensure via reciprocity within 6 months of hire).

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is a significant plus.

Specialized Expertise: Direct experience in the unique electrical requirements of wastewater treatment plants (e.g., hazardous location wiring, motor control centers).
