As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

Every day you will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and our organizational mission.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to apply the nursing process effectively within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

We are offering a $20,000 sign on in addition to up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
• Active and unencumbered RN License in state of employment
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• ACLS from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• ENPC or PALS
• NRP
• One year RN ED experience
• TCAR or TNCC within one year of hire
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly

Preferred

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• CEN

The Emergency Department at St. Anthony Hospital, one of our proud Magnet® designated hospitals, is a verified American College of Surgeons' Level I Trauma Center. We are a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center and a cardiac receiving center. We are a high-volume ED treating a variety of medical and cardiac conditions with 46 beds and approximately 58,000 visits per year. We are the home of Flight for Life® Colorado and surrounding areas bring around 1,000 patients from medical to trauma. We are a desirable department as we are the Premier Level I ED, Emergency Services Association Lantern Award recipient, providing exemplary care, ANCC equivalent of a Magnet, and we attract the best and brightest as an exemplary model department, recognized on national level of being the top one percent. Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. In 2023, we received our exciting Magnet designation! We are so proud of our staff for this achievement, which is awarded to only 10 percent of hospitals around the world.
