Are you looking for flexible work in a positive and welcoming environment? Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools is currently seeking Substitute Custodians to help keep our schools safe, clean, and ready for learning!
Our ‘Mission’ desires “to form a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through Gospel values and academic excellence.” We are seeking an individual who will exhibit the ‘Core Values’ of Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools: Faith, Unity, Excellence and Integrity and create an environment of trust.
Starting rate is $17.20/hr without experience and can increase based on relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Clean areas within the school:
- Classrooms
- Hallways
- Lockers
- Stairs
- Entryway
- Bathrooms
- Teacher Workroom
- Additional areas throughout the building as needed
- Assist with cleaning before, during, and after evening activities and events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to walk and stand a majority of the work day
- Self-starter
- Attention to detail, dependable and trustworthy
- Knowledge and skills in cleaning supplies and equipment, inventory control and time management
- Understand how role relates to the Mission of the Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools
- Exhibit the core values of Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools: Faith, Unity, Excellence, and Integrity
- Must be 16 years of age
