Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in CCU, including monitoring of respiratory status, hemodynamics, and neurological status
• Manage ventilated patients and ICP monitoring as part of neurocritical care responsibilities
• Administer medications, titrate IV therapies, and respond to urgent changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines to implement and adjust care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record (Meditech Expanse) and ensure accurate, timely charting
• Maintain safety standards, participate in round discussions, and contribute to rapid response and emergent event management

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license – active; Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) must be uploaded with profile
• 2 years current Critical Care/CCU experience
• Willingness to float to PCU as needed
• Ventilation management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring experience
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS; NIHSS required
• TNCC preferred; BSN preferred
• Permanent address uploaded and traveler has own vehicle
