Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts (3–4 shifts per 28-day schedule, including weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit including LDR, Triage, OR, and PACU settings within an acute care environment
• Manage and monitor high-risk obstetric patients, including those on Magnesium or insulin drips, adhering to established staffing ratios per AWHONN standards
• Follow patients through the full continuum of care for scheduled C-Sections, from pre-op through PACU sign-off
• Perform fetal surveillance monitoring using electronic fetal monitoring systems and respond appropriately to findings
• Accurately document patient care using facility electronic health record and charting systems
• Administer medications safely utilizing automated dispensing and IV pump systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications issued through the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for high-risk obstetric populations, including patients with diabetes or requiring Magnesium therapy
• Familiarity with Meditech (PCS and ORM modules) and OBIX fetal surveillance systems
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing and Solaris IV pump systems
