Senior Copywriter Duration: 12 months Location: Austin, TX Work schedule: Monday - Friday (8AM - 5PM) Work mode: Hybrid (4 days onsite) Job Overview We are seeking a Contract B2B Copywriter who creates clear, engaging content that speaks to everyone from decision-makers to employees. This role is to work primarily on Workplace Services Financial business (401(k), stock plans, equity awards, etc.) and Advisor Services lines of business, creating animated videos, websites, emails, newsletters, and creating and promoting industry events. Your superpower is translating dry financial topics into simple, human, compelling copy that makes the reader breathe easy and take action. Creative Things You’ll Do Solve complex business and marketing problems with simple, engaging, intuitive client experiences. Be a multi-channel expert who knows best practices for crafting everything from video and print to websites and social. Learn, use, and evolve our "Unstuffy" voice. Financial firms are supposed to sound a certain way, right? Wrong! We're humans talking to humans, so we write like humans. Deliver big, strategically based creative ideas based on human truths. Craft engaging, through-clients'-eyes content that moves people to action. Work within Brand guidelines but be clever enough to push them to the limit. Solve problems on the fly-whether they're creative, timing, or process. Rigorously self-edit with attention to tone, brevity, and clarity-make every single word count. Business Things You’ll Do Manage projects independently but know when to ask for a hand. Juggle different types of projects at once while nailing timelines and deadlines. Engage in meetings, collaborate well with others, and offer to lend a hand wherever needed-a team player in every way. Display excellent presentation skills with the ability to win over a room and sell ideas using knowledge about the business, client insights, data, strategy, and reason-all with confidence and excitement. Solve marketing partner problems by thinking strategically, implementing past feedback, and applying data and knowledge about the client. Actively build strong, productive relationships by collaborating closely with account, strategy, project management, marketing partners, etc. Receive, respond to, and implement partner feedback with patience, professionalism, and understanding. Ask (and answer) smart and challenging questions that help your team get closer to reaching your marketing partner's needs and goals. Have 5+ years of experience (but we're more about skill than tenure). If you have the goods, bring it. Demonstrate expertise in creating best-in-class digital content. Strike a balance between meeting SEO/AEO/AIO requirements and delivering a deeply human experience. Use AI tools and systems-discovering and sharing ways to work more efficiently and creatively. Systems thinking and understanding of how to creatively maximize CMS capabilities. You also need a portfolio that shows your past work. Craft and creativity are a must. We need to see you can write B2B and that there's thinking behind the words because you're charged with elevating the creative quality of everything you touch. Ideally, you have five+ years of professional B2B copywriting experience, preferably within financial services or corporate workplace solutions. Familiarity with AEO/SEO best practices, content management systems (CMS), and the B2B sales funnel are big pluses. #J-18808-Ljbffr
