Position details:

Pay: $16 per hour

• 4-day work week (MondayFriday availability required)
• 1012 hour shifts

Shift options:

Day shift:

• Dispatch between 5:00 AM 7:00 AM
• Work 1012 hours per shift

Night shift:

• Dispatch between 3:00 PM 5:00 PM
• Work 1012 hours per shift

Position purpose: The Driver Helper rides with and assists Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Assists the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloading truck and/or company vehicles.
• Places products in areas identified by customers.
• Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
