A leading consumer products organization in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Category & Shopper Insights Specialist to join a highly collaborative team supporting strategic growth initiatives across retail partners, brands, and innovation efforts.

This role is ideal for a recent college graduate who has experience diving into data, pulling details and then explaining the data through reporting . Strong computer skills & insight creation are the skills needed for success.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams by delivering retailer, category, consumer, and shopper insights.
• Support strategic decisions related to distribution, shelving, pricing, and promotional execution.
• Develop compelling, data-driven recommendations for internal stakeholders and retail partners.
• Lead and support category management initiatives that influence business performance and retailer engagement.
• Analyze syndicated, shopper, category, and retailer data to identify opportunities and trends.
• Collaborate closely with retail sales, marketing, brand, and innovation teams on a daily basis.
• Present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Some experience working with data & creating insights or reports to understand what is behind the data.
• Experience working with syndicated data sources such as Nielsen, Circana/IRI, retailer data, loyalty data, or similar platforms a big plus but not required
• Strong analytical, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
• Ability to influence decisions in a highly cross-functional environment.
