Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative for our client. The primary responsibilities include securing patient insurance information, verifying benefits, coordinating authorizations, and assisting patients with their insurance inquiries.


Key Responsibilities

• Interview patients or family members to gather insurance information and determine eligibility for financial programs.
• Coordinate and verify insurance benefits for each visit by contacting insurance companies or using websites, and communicate the status efficiently with team members.
• Provide necessary clinical information to insurance companies to justify medical procedures or services.
• Act as a liaison among clinical staff, patients, physicians, and insurance payors, and assist with referral or authorization issues.
• Maintain an accurate tracking system for patients, ensuring correct insurance and authorization information is recorded.
• Calculate and communicate estimated patient responsibilities, documenting them in the data entry system.

Skills

• Basic understanding of insurance verification.
