Travel Nurse RN - Rehabilitation - $2,117 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Rehabilitation for a 13‑week assignment in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Job Summary As a member of our team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses that require rehabilitative treatment. You will conduct assessments, implement care plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients regain optimal physical, functional, and emotional well‑being. Responsibilities Complete nursing assessments and document findings in patient records. Prepare patients for surgery, including education about procedures and post‑operative care. Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living, ensuring adherence to individualized care plans. Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and communicating concerns to the interdisciplinary team. Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment. Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice. Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN. Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications ACLS certification. NIHSS certification. Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal Skills – Must work effectively with a variety of personnel and present a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/Motor Skills – Ability to perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures. Mental Requirements – Must cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, and work with or without close supervision.
