Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and employee entry procedures in accordance with location protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or security-related concerns that could impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
