Join Our Pediatric Home Health Team!
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing for a pediatric patient in the home setting.
This position offers the opportunity to provide individualized, family-centered care while building a meaningful relationship with one patient. If you are passionate about pediatric nursing and enjoy working in a home health environment, we encourage you to apply.
We are currently looking to fill a patient's schedule in Dallas.
Schedule available:
Sunday to Thursday 8: 30 PM to 8: 30 AM
Monday to Wednesday 11: 30 AM to 6: 30 PM
Thursday 11: 30 AM to 2: 30 PM
****These times are flexible if needed******
Patient Care Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to physician orders and the individualized plan of care.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Monitor respiratory and neurological status.
- Observe, document, and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
- Implement physician-ordered treatments and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate and support family members regarding the patient's care plan.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation.
- Follow agency policies, infection control standards, and all safety protocols.
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
- Pediatric Home Health
- Private Duty Nursing (PDN)
- Medically Complex Pediatrics
- Seizure Monitoring
- Neurological Assessment
- Respiratory Assessment
- Family-Centered Care
Qualifications
- Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and assessment skills
