This full-time contract opportunity runs from February through the end of the school year, serving high school students with potential involvement in the adult transition program. This role emphasizes collaboration, assessment, and advocacy, ensuring students receive the support and resources they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification in the state
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Previous experience working with high school students and/or transition-age young adults preferred
• Strong understanding of educational testing, IEP processes, and evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ needs and eligibility for services
• Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and direct support to students as needed
• Consult with teachers and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social/emotional strategies
• Collaborate on school-wide initiatives promoting wellness and positive school culture
• Contribute professional insights to team meetings and student planning sessions
